Marvel comic book artist/writer Jim Starlin, after visiting the set of the Avengers: Infinity War in Atlanta praised the film and the team. Terming Both Avengers: Infinity War and the untitled Avengers 4 as “delightfully different,” Starlin posted on his official Facebook timeline that fans will not be disappointed.

Jim Starlin, who co-created the big bad character Thanos, essayed by Josh Brolin shared his experience visiting the sets of Avengers: Infinity War. Starlin had signed an NDA before visiting the set, and so made sure not to give out any spoilers. However, he revealed that “folks will be pleasantly shocked by how delightfully different these two movies will be from previous Marvel films.” He went on to say that the entire team is very confident of “ushering of our favorite Mad Titan out from the world of comics and into the Marvel cinematic universe.”

Marvel is sure that Josh Brolin will be able to pull off his supervillain gig with grandeur. Surprisingly, in spite of the tremendous success that Marvel has enjoyed over the years, they have mostly missed the mark while dealing with their villains. With Starlin giving us the confidence, we can only hope that Thanos will change our perception for the better.

In what seemed like a mini review, Starlin gave a detailed account of his visit to the Avengers: Infinity War set. He was touched that the entire cast and crew “went out of their way” to make him and his wife Sonny comfortable. “The biggest surprise was how open everyone was with us about what they were doing. I learned far more about the two movies than I was expecting,” said Starlin.

Meanwhile, Josh Brolin, in a recent interview had hinted at the end of his stint as Thanos with Avengers 4.

Avengers: Infinity War will hit the theaters on May 4, 2018 even though fans are still awaiting the first trailer of the film. Avengers 4 is expected to release on May 3, 2019.
