The Boys season 3 episode 6 Herogasm gets rave reaction for Hughie, Butcher & Solider Boy vs. Homelander, Gal Gadot’s ‘Imagine’ parody, A-train killing [spoiler] & more

The Boys season 3 episode 6 Herogasm is pique cinema for delivering the 3-on-1 fight between Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), Butcher (Karl Urban) and Hughie (Jack Quaid) vs. Homelander (Antony Starr) and nothing could convince fans otherwise. In fact, the NSFW nudity and bloodshed during the much-anticipated orgy fest seemed overshadowed by other relishing elements like parodying the viral Gal Gadot’s ‘Imagine’ cover and The Deep’s bestiality with an octopus for starters.

The unholy week has landed with The Boys season 3 episode 6 as Soldier Boy goes on a hunting spree after his former team members and the next target on his hit list are the TNT twins. Though not before spewing some “Bill Cosby‘s America’s Dad” wisdom. Unfortunately for Homelander, he seems to be on his own with Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) also on the run. Meanwhile, Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) is waiting for Frenchie only to be attacked and kidnapped by one of Little Nina’s (Katia Winter) henchmen.

On the other side, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) team up in hopes of stopping Soldier Boy as well as their very own ragtag team though it all leads them to the same destination – Vermont where the TNT twins are partying in celebrating the 70th anniversary of Herogasm. A C-listers-filled sex marathon, from Love Sausage’s huge phallus floating around Annie’s face to watching M.M get blasted with a huge load of sperm, fans are flabbergasted by the visuals and some are also hung over Soldier Boy’s macho look throughout Herogasm, as shown in the reactions below.

The orgy scenes also had a few nods to other comic characters, like DC’s ‘Holy Batman’ catchphrase and a Wonder Woman-Esque red glowing lasso. Aside from showcasing the longest graphic nudity for a TV series, Starr and Alonso received a lot of praise for their impressive acting in Herogasm. Additionally, Episode 6 ties up several loose ends like M.M’s backstory which triggered his PTSD, A-train (Jessie T. Usher) realizing his mistakes and killing Blue Hawk (Nick Wechsler), even Termite’s (Brett Geddes) sad death after getting stopped by Homelander. Still, the show has a few unanswered questions, like where is Maeve (Dominique McElligott)? Or is Soldier Boy’s radiation affecting Hughie and Butcher? could A-train die after that run and is Black Noir behind Soldier Boy’s capture by the Russians.

With Homelander escaping a near-death face-off against Soldier Boy, Hughie and Butcher and Annie whistleblowing on Vought, one can only wonder what lies ahead when The Boys season 3 returns next Friday with episode 7 on Prime Video.
