The Arrowverse winter hiatus is coming to an end. The highly anticipated series’—Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow-– midseason premieres are just around the corner. Meanwhile, the network has released a trailer teasing the “Super Season.”
The Arrowverse preview does not reveal any information about the upcoming storylines. However, it gives a glimpse of the fan-favorite superheroes. The 48-second funny featurette shows The Flash, Green Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow suit up.
After the recent annual Arrowverse crossover, this is probably the last time fans will see the superheroes come together until the 2018 crossover. In what looks like a locker room, Green Arrow tells his team to gear up for their next mission as they return from the winter hiatus. Scroll down to view the trailer. In addition, the trailer gives a glimpse of Heatwave, Wild Dog, Kid Flash, Citizen Steel and more.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for each season premiere is out. As reported earlier, Supergirl will return with Season 3 episode 10 titled “Legion of Super-Heroes.” The show will see Legion members come together to fight World Killer Reign as Supergirl is still unconscious.
The Flash resumes its run with Season 4 episode 10 titled “The Trial of the Flash.” Barry Allen faces the trial for the murder of Clifford DeVoe. Iris and Joe put everything on the line to keep Barry out of jail.
Arrow Season 6 returns with episode 10 titled “Divided,” wherein Felicity and Diggle team up with Oliver Queen to fight Cayden James and Black Siren. During their journey, Oliver unravels dark secrets that forces him to team up with an unlikely ally.
Details about the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are yet to be revealed.
Supergirl Season 3 returns Jan. 15 at 8:00 pm. The Flash Season 4 continues Jan. 16 at 8:00 pm an Arrow resumes its run on Jan. 18 at 9:00 pm on The CW. Stay tuned, more updates and information are expected soon.
