It’s been a long wait for DC fans but The Flash film is finally coming to fruition under director Andy Muschietti. Production on the Ezra Miller starring DC film is all set to kick-start this April with the camera crew prepping behind closed doors for the shoot. And producer Barbara Muschietti couldn’t refrain from offering a small non-spoiler tease for the fan community.
The new behind-the-scenes still from the production site, shows the preparation for the movie inside what seems to be the soundstages of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden. Muschietti wrote a small description stating, “the fun is in the inside”. You can check it out below.

The new image post from The Flash producer adds weight to the earlier report that production is scheduled to start on April 26. It had also noted that the Muschiettis had also arrived and the film crew was of locals.
The Flash movie has been the victim of multiple setbacks, under different creative heads since the character’s appearance and reveal in the earlier 2017 version of Justice League. One could say that the film faced too many hurdles with several directors departing sighting creative differences. But Warner Bros. were finally able to tap on to IT director Andy Muschietti and the choice of director also gained its vote of approval from fans.
“What captivated me about the Flash is the human drama in it,” Andy Muschietti said in an earlier interview. The human feelings and emotions that play in the drama [of it]. It’s going to be fun, too. I can’t promise that there will be any horror [elements in it], really, but it’s a beautiful human story.” The feature film’s script, penned by Birds of Prey writer Christina Hodson has reportedly taken some elements from DC Comics’ “Flashpoint” storyline as well.
The Flash will feature Miller as the Scarlet Speedster, reprising his role after last being seen in Suicide Squad. Fans will see a new iteration of the character in the upcoming Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Moreover, he will also be joined with two Batmans, with Ben Affleck’s iteration making a return and Michael Keaton playing the other version of the Dark Knight.
The Flash will hit theatres on November 4, 2022. Stay tuned for updates
