In The Flash Season 4 episode 4, the legendary actor Danny Trejo’s character Breacher was introduced with an exciting storyline. Fans be assured that he is here to stay. In a recent interview, the showrunners confirmed that we have not seen the last of Breacher and he will return.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg promised that Trejo will be back in his DC character avatar on The Flash. His storyline will revolve around his relationship with his daughter’s boyfriend, Cisco. In due course of time, Cisco and Breacher will reportedly develop a great bond, from enemies to friends. As reported earlier, things between Cisco and Breacher were not too good at the start but they surely changed.
“Right now, we’re working on a Cisco-Breacher story that doesn’t involve Gypsy,” Kreisberg said. “Cisco and Breacher are going to have a classic buddy movie [storyline]. Enemies become friends and friends become enemies.”
In his first appearance, Breacher tested his daughter’s boyfriend. He attacked Cisco and vowed to kill him in 24 hours. However, he was impressed with Cisco’s defence and gallantry. Eventually, he approves Cisco and Gypsy’s relationship.
“[It’s] one of the most popular shows on TV so I immediately said yeah. It would be dumb to say no. I really enjoyed the whole [experience]. The show, the cast is unbelievable. It’s like a big family up there,” Trejo said of his decision to join The Flash.
In additional news, Richard Brooks will reprise his role of Iron Heights Prison Warden Gregory Wolfe. According to the latest report by Comic Book, the character is involved in a multi-episode arc and the actor will play the recurring role.
Gregory Wolfe made his first appearance in The Flash Season 4 episode titled “Mixed Signals” alongside Barry Allen. He was seen standing next to Barry as he spoke to imprisoned Kilg%re.
The website notes that the Warden is devoted to his work at the prison. He hates his inmates passionately and works to control them. The prison also includes super-powered inmates and Meta-Humans and he is quite severe with them.
The Flash Season 4 returns with episode 5 “Girls Night Out” on Nov. 7. Stay tuned for more updates and news.
