Fox’s latest Marvel Comics-based series The Gifted wrapped up its first run of Season 1 on Dec. 11. The X-Men comics based introduced three X-Men heroes and bid its goodbye to another.
Fans must know there is not much left of The Gifted Season 1. The pilot season of the series consists of 13 episodes. When the show returns it will have only three episodes to air with the two-hour finale scheduled for Monday, January 15, 2018. Several media outlets are speculating that the show will make a comeback on the New Year’s Day.
The network has released a promo for The Gifted Season 1 Episode 11 teasing what is coming next. Mutant’s fight for survival continues. The war between Humans and Mutants is on. Meanwhile, Bustle reveals that the second half of the series will address important questions about the origin of Mutant Underground. Also, it will explore the missing X-Men, Magento’s storyline.
In an interview with the aforementioned publication, actress Emma Dumont (Polaris), revealed a few plot details for the remaining episodes.
“There’s a good chunk of the second half of the season that deals with Polaris and her family lineage and the repercussions of that,” Dumont said. “In the finale, we sort of see the origins of where the Mutant Underground came from, as far as Polaris and her story.”
