Following the explosive penultimate, The Gifted is set to air the much-awaited season finale in two weeks. In the final hours of Season 1, the Mutant HQ is under attack. The Fox has released a trailer video teasing the events of the two-hour finale.
During the finale, the network will air episode 12 and 13, titled “eXtraction,” and “X-Road,” back to back. It will see the Mutant Underground and Sentinel Services come face to face for an ultimate confrontation.
The trailer focuses on Lorna, also known as Polaris. She is said to be exactly like her father, Magneto, as she prepares for the war. Polaris announces that she is tired of hiding and she seems determined to fight for her survival. In the preview, she looks unstoppable. Scroll down to watch the trailer video.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for The Gifted Season 1 finale reveals Dr. Campbell will lead an anti-mutant summit where he suggests to make the Hound program bigger in its reach. However, the Mutant Underground will not let him succeed. They are determined to not go down without a fight.
The show continues to shed light on Polaris’ origin and past. She will make some life-changing decisions with far-reaching consequences. Mutants’ fight will unravel the bitter truth and true allegiance of many.

Earlier, a production still from much anticipated season finale revealed Strucker twins tapping their full power.
