The Matrix Resurrections is days away from its official debut and Warner Bros. is leaving no stones unturned in promoting Lana Wachowski’s sci-fi action film. New stills released for the anticipated fourth installment offers a hi-res look at Keanu Reeves’s Neo, Carrie-Anne Moss’ Trinity and other new stars such as Priyanka Chopra playing a familiar face from the franchise, Sati.

Recent promos for The Matrix Resurrections have offered further details on the film’s plot teasing Neo’s nostalgic moments from the first Matrix title and what lies ahead for the chosen one as he rekindles his love with Trinity.  PursueNews has received a huge batch of 31 hi-res images from The Matrix Resurrections, thanks to Warner Bros.

The new stills show scenes of Jessica Henwick’s blue-haired character in action and alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Morpheus. Also, one image offers a better look at Chopra’s Sati. Few other images show new forms of Agents and the environment setting of the Matrix world. All in all, the teasing glimpses from these high-quality captures confirm Neo will be the key that everyone are going after in The Matrix Resurrections. Readers can check out all hi-res shots below.

Keanu Reeves as Neo in The Matrix: Resurrections

The last trailer released for The Matrix 4 teased throwback moments to the First film with Reeves’ Neo also saying, “I still know kung fu,” a famous line from the 1999 film. A new clip released during Thursday evening’s The Game Awards showcased a rendition of the blue pill or red pill moment with scenes of the original scene from the first Matrix all over the wall. It seems the film will be packed with several more references to the original trilogy.

The Matrix: Resurrections also stars Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Christina Ricci, Telma Hopkins, Eréndira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Brian J. Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith. The movie arrives in theatres on December 22 and will also release on HBO Max on the same day.
