AMC has released two clips teasing the events of The Walking Dead Season 8 episode 5. The upcoming segment is titled “The Big Scary U” and it is expected to see the effects of the massacre on King Ezekiel and his community.
The first video shows Negan goes back to Gabriel and it looks like they are going to have an interesting interaction after exchanging a few blows. Meanwhile, Rick and Daryl are seen preparing for their next step in the plan. Daryl tells Rick that they must win the war from Negan and Saviours.
In the second clip, we see Negan and Father Gabriel have a conversation in a trailer. “Why did you become a priest?” Negan asks Father Gabriel.
“I love God and I love people,” Gabriel replies to Negan. Negan says that he likes to help people too by working on their weaknesses and help them become strong. Meanwhile, the walkers come closer to the trailer and continue to bang it. Scroll down to view the clip.
Along with the clips, the network released a brief description of the episode. According to the synopsis, next week fans will learn more about Negan and the lives of Saviours.
“A close look at Negan and the lives of the Saviors during the conflict through a familiar set of eyes,” reads the official synopsis of “The Big Scary U.” It looks like the gripping story line could manage to bring the show’s rating back.
