The Walking Dead (TWD) Season 8 is less than a month away from its premiere. Meanwhile, AMC has released an exciting new Rick-centric teaser. The footage shows Rick preparing his group to take down Negan and the Saviours. Scroll down to watch the latest teaser.

The teaser sees Rick give a pep talk to his team as he prepares them for the epic battle against Negan. He promises the group that whatever happens they are already the winner.
AMC released the new promo on the series’ official Instagram account with a caption: “But what comes next ain’t gonna be pretty. Season 8 premieres October 22.” Check it out below.
“The world is ours with everything we’ve beaten, everything we’ve become,” Rick says in the teaser as he addresses the Alexandrians. “No matter what comes next, we’ve already won!”
Fans can hear people cheering in the background as Rick, their leader, speaks to them. In another shot, Daryl and Rick team up for a new mission and are seen carrying their weapons in a mysterious compound. Also, the teaser trailer for The Walking Dead Season 8 gives the first glimpse of older Judith.
The finale of the Season 7 ended with the declaration of war. Alexandrians, Hilltop and The Kingdom were seen preparing to go on war against Negan. When the show returns with its all-new Season 8 this fall, fans can expect it to be big as the most highly-anticipated battle unfolds. An earlier report also revealed several new things to expect in the upcoming season.
Speaking of The Walking Dead Season 8 premiere, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd promised that it is one of the “most ambitious episode.”
“There will be elements shot during succeeding episodes. It’s that big,” Hurd said as quoted by Comicbook.
The Walking Dead Season 8 premieres Oct. 22 on AMC. Episode 1 is titled “Mercy” and has been directed by Greg Nicotero. More spoilers and updates are expected soon.
