The first reactions to Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, directed by Taika Waititi is out thanks to the social embargo lift, and the response is overwhelming.

#ThorRagnarok is the best Thor movie BUT still think it’s really good not awesome. Hemsworth, Hulk & Tessa all great, though. And Goldblum! pic.twitter.com/rY6ItFzdjN

#ThorRagnarok is SO much fun I almost can't take it. The best: Thor movie, Cate Blanchett scene stealing, Jeff Goldblum Goldblum-ing.

THOR RAGNAROK is hilarious & weird & offbeat & retro & sublime. Love how Marvel let Taika Waititi make a movie that's Waititi-ish as hell.

All the new #ThorRagnarok characters are knockouts, but Tessa Thompson walks away with this movie. All hail Valkyrie.

The third part of Thor, titled Thor: Ragnarok is a sequel and resumes exactly where we had left – Thor is in Asgard, looking after his homeworld. However, nothing can prevent the destruction of Asgard. Hela, the Goddess of Death (Cate Blanchett) takes over Asgard and also destroys Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer. Thor is captured and brought to fight in gladiatorial combat. If Thor wants to save Asgard and prevent Ragnarok, the end of the world, he can recruit The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson).
Thor: Ragnarok is expected to hit the theaters on November 3, 2017. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/the Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Karl Urban as Skurge, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
