Marvel Entertainment has finally responded with a teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. Going by the footage, the movie seems to be filled with action and humor similar to Guardians of the Galaxy.
Initially, the footage reveals that Thor’s hammer meets its unfortunate end in the hands of Hela played by Cate Blanchett. The aftermath of Mjolnir’s destruction also seems to take down the God of Thunder.
Hela goes on to take control over Asgard, defeating its army and banishing Thor to a distant planet. The Demi-god is vulnerable without his hammer and is captured by Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson.
As a prisoner in the distant alien planet, Thor is forced to get a haircut and is put into a battle arena by the Grandmaster played by Jeff Goldblum. As we all expected, the God of Thunder is pit against The Hulk who weirdly looks handsome rather than frightening in his battle armor.
Thor is initially excited to see The Hulk as he calls him “a friend from work.” Unfortunately, the green-skinned Marvel superhero isn’t happy but is rather looking to finish a fight that was started in The Avengers.
Loki is also spotted in the end seated beside the Grandmaster as he watches Thor fight The Hulk. This also suggests that Loki might attempt to save Thor to inturn save Asgard.
Let’s keep the speculation at bay till Marvel Entertainment releases the full-length official trailer. For now, fans can enjoy the teaser trailer below. Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok releases later this year on November 3rd.
