Zendaya‘s raunchy intimate scene in the R-rated rom-com, Challengers has Tom Holland trending on social media though sadly for the wrong reasons. The first trailer for the Luca Guadagnino-helmed sports drama shows the Euphoria star as Tashi Duncan engaging in a three-way sexual act with co-stars Josh O’Connor’s Patrick and Mike Faist’ Art.
Jennifer Lawrence‘s No Hard Feelings isn’t the only steamy rom-com entry of the year as Zendaya’s R-rated flick Challengers takes it up a notch with a blend of comedy and a sports-centric theme. While Zen stans are gushing over her unrestrained love triangle scenes – a large part of the internet has responded to her risque kissing shots by pulling Holland into the conversation.
Zendaya and Tom Holland have long been rumored to be in a relationship. While the Marvel actors denied dating each other in 2017, a picture of the two being intimate in 2021 confirmed they were together. Spider-Man fans were delighted by the news as the actors’ on-screen roles as Peter Parker and MJ were also romantically involved (well, at least until the ending events of Spider-Man: No Way Home).

Zen fans have also clapped back against the Tom Holland jests by arguing that the two celebs are professional actors and would support each other’s works. Moreover, some also recalled Holland’s kissing scene in Cherry as an example that the Spider-Man star has also engaged in intimate scenes but it has not impacted their real life.
The actress will next appear in Dune Part Two set for November 3 whereas Zen’s Rue Bennett from Euphoria won’t be back on HBO anytime soon. While the critically acclaimed show’s season 3 was in production – the ongoing Writers’ strike has pushed its release to 2025.
