Transformers: The Last Knight Featurette- Michael Bay Talks The Making Of The Movie In 3D And More

Michael Bay has once again managed to hype the audience to expect the unexpected in Transformers: The Last Knight. The earlier trailers released by Paramount Pictures gave viewers a glimpse at the dark and gritty plot of the movie. But the recent featurette explains the process of its making.

The director takes us into his editing room at Miami and gives a look at his workstation. Bay also explains how the film crew worked on Transformers: The Last Knight.

“We’re the first movie to ever shoot IMAX 3D” says Bay. The director goes to explain how they “are the only movie this summer that was shot in native 3D.”

Bay goes in depth to show fans the process of shooting natively. The featurette also contains some new footage from Transformers: The Last Knight. Check out the video below.

Transformers: The Last Knight releases on June 23rd, 2017. The movie is the fifth installment in its franchise. But surprisingly, it won’t be the last according to a recent report.

Yahoo! Movies recently revealed that Paramount has 14 more new Transformers stories to direct. Although Bay has plans to exit the franchise, it looks the studio has already made arrangements to continue on with the franchise.

Over the years, the Transformers franchise has turned in stable profit to Paramount. Transformers: Age of Extinction failed to appeal to the masses and critics. But that didn’t stop it from earning 1.104 Billion at the box office. Currently, fans are waiting to hear if Bay would finally quit the franchise or if the success or failure of Transformers: The Last Knight would change his mind.
