A few banners revealed at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience São Paulo hints at the official movie logo of Venom. It also teases the kind of costume that the tragic lead character Tom Hardy will be donning in the film.
The shooting for Sony’s upcoming Marvel-inspired film Venom, scheduled to release late next year is underway. There is very little information about the shooting or the film coming out from the set at the moment. A few banners revealed at the Sao Paulo Comic Con held this weekend hints at Venom’s possible logo and the suit that Tom Hardy’s character will be wearing in the film. Check out the first look from the images below.
The first picture features a snarl-toothed cartoon inside a “V”, all colored in red. The background is black. Another image has “We Are #Venom” written on it, declaring at the same time that the film will be in theaters soon.
The teeth and shape of the cartoon image is similar to the one shown in comics, unlike what we saw in Spider-Man 3. While it is impossible to tell as of now if the film’s Venom will indeed look like this, fans can only hope for it.
Venom is likely to receive an R-rating. Co-creator Todd McFlarlane is all praises for Tom Hardy’s acting abilities, who will be essaying the role of Eddie Brock/Venom. Back in October, McFlarlane said, I’ve seen some movies of his where he can bring anger and a wide personality to it. To me, I think Tom Hardy’s going to be as good as whatever Venom looks like. We all know Tom’s going to act. He’s going to do a good job.”
In addition to Tom Hardy, the film’s star-cast includes Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott.
Venom movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on October 5th, 2018.
