Watch Matt Reeves’ The Batman first 10 minutes released online

With The Batman becoming the second highest-grossing movie of the year, its success adds more fuel to VOD companies looking to pre-sell the Matt Reeves directed DC film. One such digital movie store has already released the first 10 minutes of the film featuring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Dark Knight.

The Batman is officially a week away from streaming on HBO Max yet its upcoming digital release isn’t stopping the growing box office numbers, currently standing at $735.1 million globally. While the film releases via Warner Bros. Discovery’s OTT service, its unavailability in other regions has allowed third-party services to bounce on the licensing opportunity, like South Korea’s Naver network.

The streaming service has shared a preview of The Batman featuring the first 10 minutes of the beginning act. The website provides an option for customers to purchase the full length during the pre-order sale event. As of this writing, the extended clip is yet to release for public viewing on Youtube and other platforms. Readers can check out the preview via this link.

To jog your memory, the beginning 10 minutes cover the introduction of Riddler and his first murder in Gotham City. The clip finishes right before Batman approaches a gang of goons attacking an innocent civilian in the subway. The full movie is scheduled to open on April 18 at 5 PM South Korean time.

The Batman’s home media release will undoubtedly contain extras such as behind-the-scenes, featurette and cast interviews. Earlier in March, Reeves surprised fans by releasing a 5 minute long deleted scene featuring Pattinson’s caped crusader and Barry Keoghan’s Joker. Moreover, a behind-the-scenes illustrated tie-in book titled “The Art of The Batman” will also be released a day after its digital stream, April 19. Hopefully, there’s more artwork of the Joker and possibly bonus content of Bat’s rogue gallery.
