Spider-Man: Homecoming has already got its vote of approval from critics thanks to its advance screening. Since the social media embargo lift, journalists have poured out their utmost appreciation for the film on Twitter and other social platforms.
While the film is expected to be a massive worldwide success, it still hasn’t stopped Sony from giving a final push via press junket before its release on the first week of July. Earlier on Monday, Sony Pictures Germany shared a video of Tom Holland promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming on an interview.
Surprisingly, Holland is interrupted during the interview by none other than Robert Downey Jr. a.k.a Iron Man/Tony Stark. The 52-year-old actor face time’s Holland to give a message that he got to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming and loved it.
Initially, Holland is surprised by the call and mentions that he has never face timed with Downey before. Although the 21-year-old actor is thrilled to hear the positive review, he soon tries to cut the call to carry on with the junket. Unfortunately, it looks like the Downey is trying to be a mentor to Holland in real life as well.
After realizing that Holland is “junketing,” Downey asks the 21-year-old actor to put the “press person” on the phone to find out if Holland is doing a good job. The interview is quite funny to watch. Unfortunately, the video seems to be staged. but it doesn’t take away the fun factor. Fans can check it out below.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7th. Fans can also watch the web slinger in action in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War releasing on May 4th, 2018.
