Wolverine Actor Hugh Jackman Has A Big Announcement To Make On Thursday

The Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman is going to make a huge announcement later this week. He recently took to Twitter to post a clip from The Today Show, where he’ll be appearing as a guest on Thursday.

The video clip features the Today show hosts teasing Jackman’s huge announcement. Although they didn’t reveal any additional information, they did insist that the announcement will be worth the wait.

The always charming Hugh Jackman will be here on Thursday with a huge, exclusive announcement. We can’t tell you what it is just yet, but it will be worth the wait. I promise,” one of the hosts says in the video.

See you this Thursday on The Today show for an exclusive announcement,” Jackman captioned the tweet. You can check out the video clip below.

As no additional information about the announcement is available at the moment, fans have already begun speculating and hoping that it could be related to Wolverine. Notably, last year’s Logan was Jackman’s final stint as the X-Men hero Wolverine. He has portrayed the role of the fan-favorite mutant in nine Wolverine movies so far. Fans are hoping that the actor might don the metal claws one more time for a Deadpool team-up film.

During a recent interview with MTV, when Hugh Jackman was asked if he would be excited to see the X-Men franchise going in the hands of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige as part of Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox’s entertainment assets, he responded with “100%”.

Jackman also opened up about his relationship with Feige. He revealed that when he was preparing for his role of Wolverine in X-Men, he went to Feige for advice on which X-Men comics he should read to learn more about the character.

We’ve stayed friends ever since, and nothing makes me happier to know that someone who is purely creative, purely a lover of the legacy of those comic books is this successful,” Jackman said adding, “You know, you hear all the time ‘Hollywood’s run by suits’ and I go, ‘Kevin Feige.’ If it’s a suit, it’s got a cape.”
