Warner Bros. DCFanDome has finally kicked off and its first panel, Wonder Woman 1984 had a big reveal for all the viewers tuning into the mega virtual live experience. The new trailer finally showed fans the final form of Kristen Wiig as Cheetah. And it certainly has gotten the fans talking on social media.
The cast and director of Wonder Woman 1984 were recently all present in a pre-recorded panel video during the DCFanDome: Hall of Heroes. After answering a few fan queries, the team was quick to unveil the new trailer.

The new Wonder Woman 1984 trailer offered fans a teasing look at its action-packed sequences and also offered a few scenes of Diana and Steve Trevor together. But the trailer ends showing Wonder Woman in her golden armor suit and Barbara Ann Minerva in her full Cheetah form (CGI generated). A quick fight shot between the two shows the supervillain’s agile and aggressive moves. You can check it out below.
The trailer also offered a glimpse of the Amazonian Olympics scene with the younger version of Diana Prince. Moreover, Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord also had a few new scenes But nonetheless, all eyes are on Kristen Wiig’s character in her 80s-inspired outfit.

Reactions so far have been positive but a lot of fans are still waiting to see the character’s CGI skin in higher quality. Cheetah’s reveal in the new trailer is brief but it’s safe to say that the VFX team has worked on a terrifying scary design for the supervillain.
The team later on also spoke to Lynda Carter, who made a special appearance during the panel. The classic Wonder Woman actor’s touching interaction with Wiig is certain to have caught many fans’ eyes as well.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters on October 2nd.
