Wonder Woman 1984 Ropes In American Ninja Warrior Athlete Jessie Graff As Stuntwoman

Wonder Woman 1984 has reportedly added American Ninja Warrior top athlete Jessie Graff to its cast list. Graff announced the news herself on Twitter through a video post shared by the official Ninja Warrior Twitter handle.

In the video, Graff says she has one good and one bad news to share. The good news is that she has joined the highly anticipated Wonder Woman 1984 movie as a stunt woman. The American Ninja Warrior athlete seemed too happy to be a part of a film as she is a big fan of Wonder Woman.

Coming to the bad news, Graff won’t be able to compete in the National Finals in Los Angeles this year as she has already begun shooting for the DC Comics Wonder Woman sequel film in Canary Islands, Spain. She is expected to play an Amazon in the film. Notably, this is not the first time that Graff will be performing stunts in superhero movies. Some of her previous credits include last year’s Wonder Woman, Iron Man 2, and The Dark Knight. You can check out the Twitter post below.

It recently came to light that Wonder Woman 1984 will see Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen reprising their roles of General Antiope and Diana’s mother Queen Hippolyta respectively. In the first movie, Antiope died defending Themyscira during the German invasion sequence.

In a recent interview with Net-A-Porter, Wright confirmed that she will be shooting a flashback sequence in Spain with Connie Nielsen for Wonder Woman 1984.

The film has already made news for bringing another character back to life, Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor. The actor was spotted filming with Gal Gadot for the upcoming film in Washington D.C. area over the summer. The movie also stars Kristen Wiig as Cheetah and Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell in undisclosed roles.

Patty Jenkins is directing the film from a screenplay penned down by her along with Geoff Johns, and Dave Callaham. Oscar-winning film composer Hans Zimmer will be scoring music for Wonder Woman 1984.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to arrive in theaters on November 1, 2019.
