Wonder Woman: New Trailer Caves In To Fans Pressure And Removes White Bleach Over Gal Gadot Armpit

Wonder Woman: New Trailer Caves In To Fans Pressure And Removes White Bleach Over Gal Gadot Armpit

Earlier during the premiere of Gotham’s new episode, Warner Bros. released a new trailer for Wonder Woman. Although it doesn’t give us a lot of new scenes from the film, it looks like the post-production has tinkered around color correction and improved its VFX to produce the best final version.

The new trailer gives us a glimpse of Gal Gadot getting down to action in the Warfield. Moreover, it also gives fans a hint of her dominance in the man’s world.

Unfortunately, an unnecessary scene caught my attention over these grand and empowering sequences. At 0:37 in the new trailer, fans can see the difference in Gadot’s armpit when compared to Wonder Woman official origin trailer released a month ago.

For fans reference, screenshots of the scene can be found below. The bleached armpit that we came across in the official origin trailer has been removed in the new trailer. Overall, the film’s tone has also improved from the last trailer.

It looks like Warner Bros. decided to remove the bleach to avoid unnecessary criticism from fans over her armpit rather than criticize or acclaim the film’s plot and adaptation. Readers can find both trailers embedded below.

On the bright side, Wonder Woman continues to receive positive responses from fans as well as critics. Earlier, a source who got to be part of an advance screening said it was the best DC film.

Wonder Woman releases on June 2nd. Earlier TV spot clips have given us a glimpse of Ares. However, it is still unsure who plays the supervillain character.
