It seems some fans really want the 20th Century Fox’s deal with Disney to get finalized as soon as possible to see their favorite X-Men characters to join the highly celebrated Marvel Cinematic Universe. A new artwork based on X-Men: Dark Phoenix is a clear example of that.
A Marvel fan named Fabio Rodrigues recently took to Twitter to share his poster artwork that gives a Marvel Studios makeover to the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The posters are made to look similar to MCU film posters which generally feature the film’s ensemble cast positioned in a stacked arrangement, the villain framed at the top and some vehicles or tech popping up in the background. The posters feature the X-Men team in new blue and yellow costumes.

Dark Phoenix was initially scheduled to release in November this year, but, the filmmakers decided to push the film’s release to 2019 to undergo reshoots which is now the new normal for all major big budget films. 20th Century Fox also postponed the release of another X-Men film, The New Mutants, to August 2, 2019, from April 13, 2018.
A rumor recently started making rounds claiming that X-Men: Dark Phoenix had been removed from the 20th Century Fox website. This left fans wondering if the studio has dropped the film from its official release schedule. Fortunately, that’s not the case, as Fox officials have confirmed to CBR that Dark Phoenix was never listed in the first place as the film’s trailer is yet to be unveiled. So, this means X-Men: Dark Phoenix is still scheduled for release on Feb. 14, 2019.
Fox is expected to release an official Dark Phoenix poster and might even screen the film’s trailer during the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con 2018 event scheduled to take place later this month.
