Zack Snyder’s ambitious Star Wars-inspired sci-fi saga, Rebel Moon is currently undergoing production so updates on the Netflix project have begun pouring in. In fact, the first look at the film’s official logo has been unveiled by a cast member on set.
So far, concept arts for Rebel Moon have teased an intergalactic vibrant blockbuster in the making. Furthermore, expectations are high among Snyder fans due to the sheer fact it’s a 10-year-old Star Wars pitch taking shape as an original franchise of its own. Now, a new set photo has offered a look at Rebel Moon’s ‘DUNE’-esque logo
Actor Michael Thântrọng, who claims to play an Alien in the movie, recently underwent a Wardrobe fitting test for Rebel Moon. Furthermore, the star shared a still of the logo put up in the costume department room. Feature film logos are usually unveiled on sets, either as a leaked photo of the title on the director’s chair or the project’s helmer sharing a still of the clapperboard, etc. Readers can check it out below.

Rebel Moon filming is expected to wrap sometime in November. The long principal photography schedule is due to the nature of the film divided into Part 1 and Part 2 with production taking place back to back. The movie centers on a young man with a mysterious past seeking out warriors from neighboring planets to help make a stand against Balisarius, a tyrannical regent leading armies threatening a peaceful colony.
Rebel Moon is being developed by Netflix under a first-look deal with Snyder’s production company The Stone Quarry. Snyder penned the film along with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. The movie stars Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Charlotte Maggi, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Duffy and Sky Yang.
Rebel Moon is expected to arrive on Netflix by 2024.
