Earlier today, several critics and a select few got the opportunity to experience Avengers: Endgame along with the cast members at the world premiere held in Los Angeles. And as expected, the first social media reactions for the movie have started to flood Twitter.
Avengers: Endgame is receiving the highest appraisal from critics for its culmination of the 22 films released under the MCU banner from the last 10 years. The movie not only concludes the story but also expands upon it. Fortunately, all the attendees of the world premiere are careful in sharing their experience to avoid revealing any spoilers.
Forbes contributor Mark Hughes stated that Avengers: Endgame this movie would exceed fans’ past expectations in bringing comics to life on the big screen. Whereas Fandango’s Managing Editor Eric Davis suggests moviegoers not to go in expecting to experience Infinity War part 2 but instead a different experience although the upcoming movie compliments each other in the best ways.
Comicbook.com’s Brandon Davis has also advised fans to avoid all spoilers related to Avengers: Endgame at all cost for the best experience. And so far, the journalists have done a quite a wonderful job in keeping the plot details under wraps. Moreover, he also shared his emotional rollercoaster journey watching the movie. The Wrap’s film journalist/Heroic Hollywood Founder Umberto Gonzalez also echoed the same sentiments in his tweet.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Editor Aaron Couch pointed out an interesting observation that 90 percent of Avengers: Endgame footage released so far is from the first 15 minutes of the movie. So it looks like fans are in for a fresh non-spoiled experience this weekend.
Another observation pointed out by many critics is that the movie had a lot of fun moments. so through the trailers portrayed a somber fest for fans, it looks like there’s more to the movie than what was conveyed to the audience through trailers.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters this week on April 26. You can check out all the reaction tweets below.
#AvengersEndgame is an astonishing, amazing film. I’ve never seen anything like it. This movie is everything I wanted to be and SO much more. Amazing.

#AvengersEndgame thoughts. Still processing: I laughed, I cried (multiple times), I screamed, but overall an EPIC ending to the Infinity Saga. #EndgamePremiereLA #Avengers #Endgame #whateverittakes

This can't be understated: #AvengersEndgame is everything you want it to be and more. I am absolutely floored. A perfect reflection on the last 11 years that pays off everything in the best way possible. Without question my new favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Stunned. pic.twitter.com/5LvFw9UEBQ

#AvengersEndgame is a masterful epic – a true culmination of 22 films that not only concludes the story, but expands upon it. You’ll learn more about the other movies while this one unfolds. If Infinity War is the brawn, Endgame is the brains. And wow, what an ending! pic.twitter.com/94ttBUQKJ0

Do not go in expecting Infinity War part two. The two films are so different, yet compliment each other in all the best ways. In terms of which MCU movie to watch beforehand… honestly, all of them. What an experience – what an accomplishment#AvengersEndgame

Not going to spoil anything at all, but I will say I laughed, I cried, I cried, I cheered, I laughed, I cried again and then the entire audience gave it a massive standing ovation. And then I cried again. Be ready, kids. Be. Ready.#AvengersEndgame

90% of the #AvengersEndgame footage that’s been officially released is from first the 15 minutes: Other than the actual surprises, the biggest surprise to me was how funny it is
— Aaron Couch (@AaronCouch) April 23, 2019
Imagine the best possible version of #AvengersEndgame and somehow the film still surpasses all expectations. I cried 5-6 times. It’s the most emotional, most epic, MCU film. A tribute to ten years of this universe and holy shit the great fan service in this movie. Soooo good.
