A new leaked image from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reveals A Quiet Place star John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic. Though some MCU fans are excited to have uncovered the truth four days before its theatrical release, many are disappointed with further spoilers surfacing on social media.
Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Doctor Strange 2
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness faces huge leaks comparably to Spider-Man: No Way Home which spoiled Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s involvement. While the latter’s leak was vague enough to question its authenticity – the newly released unofficial screen grabs from Doctor Strange 2 outright confirm Krasinski as Reed Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four. From the looks of it, the incident occurs in the location where the Illuminati reside. A previous teaser showed Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) fighting Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Captain Marvel (Lashana Lynch) in the same scene-setting.
The leaks have since gained momentum of dissent on Twitter with many memes postulating what MCU chief Kevin Feige‘s state of mind would be like. Additionally, some are also picking apart Mr. Fantastic’s latex blue suit with the iconic F4 symbol on the chest. Readers can check out the reactions below.

Ironically, Feige recently addressed Marvel Studios’ strategy to fighting leaks and spoilers during a press briefing and his response sums up MCU’s bout with such unexpected incidents:
“The unfortunate truth is you don’t [ keep it all under wraps], and therefore you need to make sure that the experience itself works regardless of what has been spoiled or not. We still do as good of a job as we can. I think a lot of people are getting good at not spreading it. Somebody steals something, don’t spread it around because it just potentially lessens the experience.”
Feige’s statement can easily be supported by No Way Home’s $1.8 billion box office success despite its fair share of leaks. Furthermore, with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness just days away from release, the pile of leaks may even serve as an added promo for its worldwide release.
It’s unclear if Krasinski’s Mr. Fantastic Four is just another variant or the official character for MCU’s main timeline. The Fantastic Four project just hit a hurdle with Jon Watts’ exit to direct the feature.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrives on May 6.
