Fans Demand Snyder’s Justice League Cut On DC Universe Live Chat

Last year, Warner Bros. and DC Film’s big-budget superhero team-up film, Justice League, failed to impress the critics and the audiences. The film’s original helmsman Zack Snyder stepped down from his directing duties right after the film’s completion in the wake of a family tragedy.

Snyder’s exit resulted in former Marvel Studios director Joss Whedon to step in and oversee the reshoots. It is reported that Snyder almost completed filming the movie before his exit. but, Whedon reshot 15-20 percent of the film including some pivotal scenes and the ending.

Now what fans are demanding from the film studio is to release the Snyder Cut, Zack Snyder’s take on last year’s Justice League.

Recently, when Kevin Smith hosted the first episode of DC Daily to make major announcements about the DC-exclusive streaming service, DC Universe, a lot of Snyder fans filled the live chat demanding for the release of Snyder’s Justice League Cut. (via ComicBook.com)

Some of them even asked the live stream host to make a statement on the movie, as if he had any power to take the big decision.

While almost all the people connected with the Justice League have dismissed the existence of a Zack Snyder cut, the film’s storyboard artist, Jay Oliva, insists that the cut does exist.

Earlier this month, when a fan on Twitter claimed that a Snyder Cut does exist, Oliva replied to the tweet saying that yes it does.

Yep, it does. If it doesn’t then what did Zack screen to execs prior to Whedon? If you don’t care for it then step aside because you’re just parroting what the bloggers are saying without any real knowledge or insight. Have a great day Tim!” Oliva’s tweet read.

Only time will tell if fans will ever get to see Snyder’s Justice League cut in future. Even the film’s post-credits scene which hinted at plans for setting up the Legion of Doom is rumored to have been scrapped.

DC Universe is officially going live on this year’s Batman Day, September 15th.
