Earlier on Tuesday, Warner Bros. released the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald. As expected, the promotional video was well received among fans and has also sparked several conversations among them such as taking the audience down the memory lane by giving a glimpse of Hogwarts in the opening sequence.
Usually, moments after a trailer release, fans are treated with screenshots taken from the footage. But the studio itself has now provided with 20 Hi-res production stills from the trailer.
Except for two of the production stills, the rest don’t have anything to give away that the trailer already hasn’t. While one image is a close up of Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, the second still offers a slightly landscape style view of the city and fans can spot the actress on the right corner walking on the footpath.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald hits theatres on November 16th this year. The film will follow the events of the original film as Grindelwald is on the loose and is on a path of recruiting followers to make certain only pure-blood wizards rule over all non-magical beings.
The trailer continues to generate more conversation as fans are beginning to spot Harry Potter references. One that has managed to generate much buzz is the Deathly Hallows reference at 1:47 in the trailer. Hopefully, the movie itself will have a lot more to offer for the Potter fans.
Dumbledore asks his former student Newt Scamander to put a stop to Grindelwald’s plans. The young wizard agrees to help unaware of the dangers and consequences that lie ahead.
Directed by David Yates, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald is from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling.
