Kingsman 3 May Introduce Characters Important For Kingsman Spin Off [Rumor]

Director Matthew Vaughn is likely planning to use his upcoming film Kingsman 3 to set up events for the franchise’s first spinoff film titled Kingsman: The Great Game. The spinoff film will reportedly get filmed back to back with Kingsman 3. It is expected to follow the spy organization in the early 1900s.

According to a report coming from That Hashtag Show, Vaughn along with his screenwriting partner Jane Goldman are planning to use the third Kingsman film to introduce characters that will get highlighted again in The Great Game. As per the casting list, the filmmakers are searching for two new lead characters for the franchise who will also be a part of Kingsman 3.

One of the lead characters is that of a teenage boy named Conrad, who is a cocky son of a British Duke who wants to serve his country during World War I. He might possibly have a connection with Taron Egerton’s character Eggsy.

As far as the second lead character is concerned, nothing much about the character is known as of now except that it’s an older male, and that the film studio is eyeing Ralph Fiennes for the role.

Kingsman 3 will likely begin filming in the UK in January next year. The film is being touted as the final installment in the Eggsy trilogy.

Notably, the makers also have plans to create an 8-hour television series associated with the Kingsman franchise and a spinoff film on the Statesman organization, the American counterpart to the Kingsman that was introduced in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The film would follow the characters played by Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, and Jeff Bridges. There are no details as to exactly what characters or time period the television series plans to cover.

We expect to hear more about Kingsman 3 and Kingsman: The Great Game in the coming days.
