While some fans are still feeling low over the events that unfolded in Avengers: Infinity War, the others are completely enticed by the film’s antagonist Thanos played by Josh Brolin. Though he did kill a few of the fan favorite characters, it seems like there’s a part of a fandom that would justify his action.
At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, when Thanos finally snapped his fingers with the complete Infinity gauntlet, his action wiped out half of the world population including some Marvel superheroes like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Star-Lord and more.
Some Infinity War fans who support Thanos’ decision in bringing a balance to the universe started a subreddit, /r/thanosdidnothingwrong, dedicated to him. In order to recreate the effects of Thanos’ snap during Infinity War, the subreddit decided to get perfectly balanced by getting half of their subscribers banned, removed, and wiped out from the community on Monday, July 9.
The r/ThanosDidNothingWrong subreddit currently has more than 575k subscribers. So, this means the snap will instantly ban 290,000 Reddit users.
Interestingly, Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo could not resist themselves from becoming a part of the subreddit. They especially asked Josh Brolin a.k.a Thanos to film a video of him recreating his Infinity War snap.
“Here we go, Reddit users,” Brolin says in the video while delivering his iconic finger snap with a smile on his face.

In related news, it is rumored that the Russo Brothers are planning to roll out a Thanos special edition that will likely include around 30 minutes of unseen footage featuring Mad Titan’s backstory. Notably, Marvel or the Russo brothers are yet to confirm the news but there are other journalists who state that there isn’t a cut which features 30 minutes of new footage.
Avengers: Infinity War is now running in theatres. The film will be available on digital platforms on July 31, and on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K on August 14.
