If you think you can get a clue of what could be the title for the 2019 Avengers 4 movie at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, then we have some disappointing news for you. The most talked about film is skipping the Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year.
According to New York Magazine and Vulture Senior Editor Kyle Buchanan, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has told him that Marvel and Marvel Studios will certainly have a presence at SDCC 2018, but they have decided to skip the Hall H panel this year in order to give fans some time to digest Avengers: Infinity War.
“Don’t count on a lot of juicy AVENGERS 4 reveals at Comic-Con this year… Kevin Feige just told me that while Marvel will still have a floor presence, they’re skipping the usual Hall H panel to let the dust settle from INFINITY WAR,” Buchanan’s tweet read.
Notably, Marvel Studios is going to mark Marvel Cinematic Universe’s tenth anniversary this year. So, to celebrate the milestone, the film studio is expected to release some exclusive MCU gear and collectibles including posters, toys as well as clothing options. It is just that the film studio won’t be dropping any trailers or movie announcements at this year’s star-studded convention, including the much-discussed and debated title of Avengers 4.
Feige had the same to say to Screen Rant to whom he confirmed that Marvel Studios’ presence at SDCC will be all about MCU’s 10th-anniversary celebration and unfortunately it won’t be exciting fans with a Hall H appearance.
“We’re going to do um, of course, Marve will have a presence there.Marvel Studios will have a presence there only in that there will be 10th-anniversary materials and a 10th-anniversary panel. Not doing Hall H this year,” said Feige.
Talking more about Avengers 4, the film directors Anthony and Joe Russo have already confirmed that the fourth installment title will be a huge spoiler for Avengers: Infinity War which is releasing this week.
The only thing that’s known about Avengers 4 is that it will debut in theaters on May 3, 2019, and that the movie will bring the Phase 3 of the Marvel saga to an end. The Russo brothers also directed Avengers 4 from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It is rumored that Avengers 4 could deal with time travel.
