The latest round of rumors suggests that the 2019’s untitled Avengers 4 film will feature actress Emma Fuhrmann playing an older version of Ant-Man’s daughter. According to a report from That Hashtag Show, the Blended actress has been cast as Cassie Lang in the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War.
The 10-year old Abby Ryder Fortson currently portrays the character of Cassie Lang in the Ant-Man films. She will be seen reprising her role in Ant-Man and the Wasp, which releases this July.
If the report is true then there could be two possible reasons for the filmmakers to cast an older version of Cassie Lang in Avengers 4. The first could be that the 2019 Avengers film takes place several years after Ant-Man 2. The second could be that there’s time/dimensional travel involved in Avengers 4.
There are possibilities that the film could use Fuhrmann to age Cassie in order to bring Stature or Stinger into the picture, leading to the introduction of Young Avengers in Phase Four.
Notably, Fuhrmann’s social media also teases her Marvel connection. She has shared a lot of Marvel promos as well as a picture featuring a bottle with the Avengers logo on it. You can check out the post below.

It is expected that more information about Avengers 4 will start pouring in from next week post the release of Avengers: Infinity War on April 27th. Fans will reportedly have to wait for long to know the real Avengers 4 title as the film’s co-director Joe Russo has already confirmed that they won’t be revealing the 2019 Avengers film title anytime soon.
Avengers 4 is scheduled to debut in theaters on May 3, 2019. The film will bring the Phase 3 of the Marvel saga to an end.
