If a new rumor is to be believed fans might get to hear some new updates about Matt Reeves’ The Batman solo film tomorrow.
As claimed by popular tipster DanielRPK, Some sort of announcement about the much-anticipated solo project is expected tomorrow. Recently, when a Twitter user asked the tipster if has any updates on Ben and Matt Reeves solo Batman film, he replied saying that an update about the film will arrive tomorrow, that is on Thursday, July 26.
“You’ll hear about it tomorrow but not from me,” the tipster’s tweet read.
He confirmed that the update won’t be from him. Moreover, In another recent tweet, he clarified that he didn’t mean it was going to be an announcement from the studio but rather an article/ story about the movie is being written.
Talking more about the Batman solo film, late last month it was rumored that WB had begun hiring a production crew to work on the Dark Knight’s next big-screen adventure. The alleged rumor got fans excited hoping that director is finally ready to get into pre-production. Unfortunately, the news remains unconfirmed.
Batman fans were also expecting Matt Reeves to show up at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 to announce some official update about the Batman film, but the same did not happen.
As far as the film’s script is concerned, Reeves turned in the first act of his screenplay over the Memorial Day weekend. It is rumored that the film will likely feature a younger version of Batman. If in case it turns out to be true then fans may not see the 45 years old Ben Affleck donning his Caped Crusader avatar again in The Batman film.
It is also rumored that the film will feature The Court of Owls as the main villain with Oswald Cobblepot playing the second baddie.
We will have to wait until tomorrow to check if there’s indeed some new update coming our way.
