Marvel Studio’s Ant-Man and The Wasp marketing and promotions are going on in full swing as the film is all set to open in theaters in just a few days from now.
During Ant-Man and the Wasp’s official press conference (via comicbook.com), actress Evangeline Lilly was asked to mention her favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe character that she would love to see the Wasp team up with in Avengers 4 and other future movies. Lilly replied that her answer has changed since her early days in the MCU.
She explained that earlier she wanted to see the Wasp share screen with the giant Hulk, but, after doing Giant-Man and The Wasp, her choice changed. Lilly revealed that presently her current personal favorites and Okoye and Danai (Gurira).
“I used to say, because I was asked this question prior to this movie, and I used to say it’d be fun to see The Wasp with the Hulk,” the Ant-Man and The Wasp actress said. “Because she’s so teeny and he’s so giant. But then we did Giant-Man and The Wasp, so that’s out. I don’t know, but I just personally have an enormous crush on Okoye and would love a chance to hang out with Danai [Gurira] as much as possible. So let’s just say that.”
Considering the fact that Okoye has survived Thanos’ devastating snap, it is highly likely that fans will get to see her team up with other Marvel superheroes in Avengers 4. So, chances of the Wasp meeting Okoye are pretty high.
This is not the first time an MCU actress has revealed her interest to appear beside a character from Black Panther. Earlier, Tom Holland shared his interest to appear beside Shuri played by Letitia Wright.
Interestingly, Lilly also teased about all-female Avengers movie saying, “Besides the fact that I am personally going to continue to keep the rumor and gossip about an all-female Avengers movie going.” You can check out the interview below.
Now talking about Ant-Man and The Wasp, the film had an official press screening for the critics on Friday night. They immediately took to social media websites to praise the film. Some even claimed that the film has the best post-credits scenes that no one can afford to miss.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is hitting theaters on July 6. The film will have a total runtime of 1 hours and 58 minutes.
Had a blast watching #AntManandtheWasp. It’s super funny, which is its greatest charm. Very personal, small scale story (again) and definitely focused on being light and family friendly. Evangeline Lilly is a badass, and Scott’s daughter Cassie steals the show. Also, ants 🐜 pic.twitter.com/PMAZf94gGa

What a year for Marvel! Absolutely loved #AntManAndTheWasp. Stellar ensemble and the humor is spot on. (Laughed myself to tears during one sequence!) The tech is used to great effect yet again. Unique, highly entertaining ride I can’t wait to go on again.

#AntManAndTheWasp has everything Marvel fans are hoping for. Amazing tech, hilarious quips, Ant-Man enters the Quantum Realm and eats Bucky’s ass, and some twists and turns that’ll leave those left heartbroken by the events of INFINITY WAR with something to look forward to 😉

Ant Man and The Wasp is good old fashion fun. A nice change of pace from the other Marvel films earlier and is entertaining from beginning to end. Paul Rudd is hilarious and Evangeline Lilly was so bad ass. #AntManAndTheWasp pic.twitter.com/OjNkfzWZ3W

Sooo… #AntmanAndTheWasp is the perfect comic chaser to the doom and gloom of Infinity War. Also, Evangeline Lilly rocks as The Wasp. pic.twitter.com/NrXxy53xHZ

#AntManAndTheWasp is cool and all, but the end credit scene is the best part of the whole film and the only thing I can think about right now.
