As production and filming work on Tim Miller’s Terminator reboot film is currently underway in Madrid, Spain, a lot of on-set photos have started pouring in, all thanks to the fans.
The recent batch of pictures offers the very first glimpse of the new Terminator himself, Gabriel Luna. Luna is known for playing Ghost Rider on ABC’s Agents of SHIELD. He was spotted on the set of a Cyber Cafe recently. In one of the pictures, Luna can be seen playing the guitar. The actor also recently took to Twitter to interact with fans through a video.
The next Terminator movie will see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reprising their iconic roles as T-800 and Sarah Connor respectively. Last month, fans got the first glimpse of Hamilton’s Sarah Connor in a pair of high-res photos from the film’s sets. The actress was pictured wearing a bulletproof vest and a pair of cool aviator sunglasses.
Halt Catch Fire and Blade Runner 2049 star Mackenzie Davis will also play a key role in the film. She will step into the shoes of Dani Ramos who is a young woman in her early 20s from Mexico City. Her character from the film has been described as that of a strong, independent person who always manages to find a ray of light even in the darkest of circumstances. Davis looked bruised and dirty, with scars across her arms and chest in her first set picture from the upcoming film. You can check out all the pictures below.
While plot details of the Terminator reboot film are currently under wraps, it has been confirmed that the film will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day. It will center on a battle between man and machine.
Earlier during CinemaCon 2018, the official logo for the film was revealed by the studio. but it doesn’t look there will be any announcements regarding the reboot at SDCC 2018.
Paramount Pictures’ Terminator reboot film is currently set to debut in theatres on Nov. 22, 2019.
