Its T-Rex Vs. Lion in New Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom TV Spot

The latest Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom TV spot pits a lion against a dinosaur. The 30-second long teaser majorly comprises of a lot of scenes from the first promotional footage. But the most interesting shot comes right before the title card which shows a T-Rex roaring at the king of the jungle, a lion.

We’re not on an island anymore,” Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady says in the teaser. “This has to end.”

The promo also features a voiceover from Jeff Goldblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm, who featured in Steven Spielberg’s original 1993 movie Jurassic Park and its sequel The Lost World. Notably, Goldblum will only have a minor role in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but he has been featured heavily in the marketing.

Looking at the teaser it seems like much of the movie’s action will take place on the mainland, where the dinosaurs don’t stay in the cages. The film will introduce a dangerous hybrid dinosaur called the Indoraptor, which is neither a T-Rex nor a raptor.

Actor Chris Pratt, who is going to reprise his role of Owen Grady in the upcoming film, took to Twitter to unveil the latest Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom TV spot. You can check out the post below.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will reportedly be the last film in the franchise to feature hybrid dinosaurs as director Colin Trevorrow has already announced that Jurassic World 3 will not feature any hybrid dinosaurs. He has confirmed that his film will take a back to basics approach. So, this means the Indoraptor will be the last hybrid dinosaur in the Jurassic World trilogy.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by Spanish filmmaker J.A. Bayona, and co-written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. It has been produced by Frank Marshall, Belén Atienza, and Pat Crowley. The film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, BD Wong, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, James Cromwell, Geraldine Chaplin and Daniella Pineda.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will open in theatres on June 7, 2018. Jurassic World 3 is set to release on June 11, 2021.
