The Predator Featurette Shows Ultimate Predator Go For The Kill & More BTS

A new featurette for Fox’s highly anticipated sci-fi horror film, The Predator, has been released online teasing some behind-the-scenes actions. Released by AMC Theatres, The Predator featurette shows the making of the film along with interviews of the cast of the film as well as of the film’s writer-director Shane Black.

In addition, there’s also some brand-new footage showcasing the new genetically modified Ultimate Predator rip another hunter through a wall and then slam it on to a car. The scene cuts right when he rips the helmet right off and goes in for the kill. Notably, The Predator has already received an R-Rating for “strong bloody violence, language throughout, and crude sexual references.”

You can check out the featurette below.

After 30 years of Predator movies, it’s the right time to resurrect the franchise. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to play in that sandbox,” Black said in the featurette. “We love growing this thing. We’re trying to encompass, in one movie, all the genre things that we love.”

The Predator director claims that the film is the scariest movie in the entire franchise.

This is the scariest one,” Black noted. “We’re upgrading the Predator to the next level of deadliness.”

The Predator follows a young boy (Jacob Tremblay) who accidentally sets off an alert-triggering the return of the universe’s most lethal hunters to Earth. The responsibility to save the human race now lies on a crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher. It has already been confirmed that the film remains in the continuity of the first two movies and isn’t a full reboot of the series.

The Predator star cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Augusto Aguilera, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Jake Busey, and Yvonne Strahovski

The Predator will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 6 before heading to theatres on Sept. 14, 2018.
