Captain Marvel: Casting Call For Actors To Play As Grandparents For An Actress

Earlier during the end of June, Captain Marvel co-director Ryan Fleck revealed that the crew is in the final weeks of production and that filming will completely wrap after their 2 weeks shoot in Louisiana. Now, we know what the film crew will be shooting or at least a part of it in the location.

A casting call on Backstage revealed that the Captain Marvel team is in search of actors to play as Grandparents. The same requirement posted on Project casting had more details in the description stating they prefer “a real-life couple” with the looks of a 60’s-70’s African American. but individuals can also apply.

The actors will portray as the Grandparents of an actress. There’s no mention of who the actress would be but it looks like it is for one of the main lead, possibly for Lashana Lynch’s character.

Another casting call on the website reveals the search for extras to play as Government Medical Agents. Both males and females between the age of 20-69 are required for the role. People of all ethnicities are eligible to apply.

Production will take place in White Castle, Louisiana on July 6th. It might probably be the last day of production since it is just a 2-week shoot in the location.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script co-written by both helmers with Liz Flahive, Meg LeFauve, Carly Mensch, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson in the titular role as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Mar-Vell, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace and Annette Bening in a role that is yet to be unveiled.

Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 8, 2019.
