By far, fans have only come across the Vibranium suit worn by Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War. However, it looks like T’Challa (played by Chadwick Boseman) isn’t the only person with access to the impenetrable suit at the Kingdom of Wakanda.
Recently, Yahoo! Movies exclusively shared a series of Black Panther action figures which includes Erik Killmonger (played by Michael B. Jordan). Unlike the costume we got to see him wear in the promo photos and trailer, the supervillain has managed to get a Vibranium suit as well.
By the looks of it, the suit looks terrifying than that of Black Panther. However, any fan would call it out for being a copycat of T’Challa’s. Readers can check out the photos below.
The trailer has already teased fans to expect one of the best showdowns in Marvel movies by giving a glimpse of its one-on-one fight scene between T’Challa and Erik Killmonger. However, both characters were shown battling with spears and traditional shields wearing no defensive armor.
It is possible that Erik Killmonger decides to take on T’Challa wearing the Vibranium suit at one point in the upcoming standalone film. but it looks like that won’t be enough for the supervillain to defeat the Black Panther.
Images of other action figures also revealed the Black Panther wearing an upgraded version of his Vibranium costume. Clearly, the suit seemed to be supercharged and looks more powerful than it was first portrayed in Civil War. Readers can also head over to Yahoo! Black Panther hits the big screens next year on 16th February. The King of Wakanda will later make his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War and in the untitled fourth installment.
