It’s here, Money Heist season 5 Part 2 consisting of its final five episodes has been released on Netflix. The critically acclaimed Emmy award-winning Spanish heist crime drama will wrap up after four years of a guns-blazing journey consisting of gut-wrenching betrayals, schemes, anti-capitalist symbolism & more. A failing show acquired by Netflix for a meager 2 dollars to eventually make millions.
As expected, La casa de Papel fans are buzzing all over social media since Netflix began teasing Money Heist Part 5 volume 2’s release. The Money Heist ensemble was even recently part of a virtual press conference to promote the final season. Star Álvaro Morte who plays the fan-favorite character, The Professor addressed the show’s global impact and expressed his emotional thoughts on the show’s conclusion.
“After five years, I went on set and none of my colleagues were there. Said Morte speaking to Wion. “And I think that was a little bit disturbing (to me). Because, somehow, I have had this parallel show since my character died. I mean, it was a person that didn’t know my character was dead.”
A lot of fans are excited to see if The Professor‘s team will finally pull off their escape from Bank of Spain. However, some are hoping to see Arturo (Enrique Arce) meet his much-expected demise in the finale. Last season hit viewers with a major heartbreak after the death of Tokyo (Ursula Corbero). As teasers for Money Heist season 5 revealed, The Professor finally enters the Bank of Spain. The gang will attempt their greatest escape amidst being swarmed by the Police. As the finale debuts, Morte has also shared an image of himself in character as The Professor bidding his farewell.
