‘Captain Marvel’: Hasbro Unveils New Toy Line Of Carol Danvers, Nick Fury & More

After the release of second full-length Captain Marvel trailer, Hasbro has officially unveiled its forthcoming spring 2019 toy line based on the film. The upcoming film will see the debut of Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers as the first female Marvel superhero.

The toy line consists of five figures including Captain Marvel with interchangeable hands and head, Captain Marvel in Bomber Jacket with her cat Goose, Talos, Nick Fury, and Star Force Commander. The Marvel Legends action figures have been priced at $19.99 each and line will be available for purchase in Spring 2019,

In addition, the toymaker will release a Photon Power FX Glove toy that will feature lights and sound effects from the movie. The glove will be available in January for $16. Hasbro will also be releasing four 11.5-inch sized dolls complete with 15 points of articulation- Captain Marvel Power FX Electronic Doll, Captain Marvel Doll, and Goose, Captain Marvel (Star Force) Doll, and Cosmic Captain Marvel Doll- priced at $13-$25. According to Screen Rant, They will hit stores this January.

LEGO will be releasing a new set called the Skrull Attack which includes the Quinjet along with mini figurines of Captain Marvel, Nick Fury, Talos, and Goose. The mini figures will cost $9.99 and the set will cost $29.99.

Set in the mid-’90s, the upcoming film will follow the story of a cosmic superhero engaged in an intergalactic war who finds out she was once from Earth.

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck have directed the film from a script they wrote along with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Jude Law as Marv-Vell, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Lee Pace as Ronan, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Kenneth Mitchell as Joseph Danvers, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, and McKenna Grace. It will fly into theaters on March 8, 2019.
