Jack is back but as a fugitive in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan season 3! The John Krasinski starrer series has secured this year’s Christmas week to release its much-awaited third season. The upcoming segment contains eight episodes, all confirmed to stream on December 21.
Earlier on Wednesday, the official Twitter account hinted at a major announcement coming soon for Jack Ryan season 3. But with the embargo lifted, PursueNews can confirm the Ryanverse is all set to return this December and along with announcing the premiere date, Prime Video has released a new generic poster featuring the titular star and the release date. Jack Ryan season 2 had fans’ favorite CIA analyst turned field agent along with officer Greer uncovering a conspiracy in Venezuela, investigating an illegal arms shipment. But the finale makes a shocking revelation that Senator Mitchell Chapin (Michael O’Neill) was the culprit aiding Nicolas Reyes’s regime by funding their Gold-mining operation.

According to the synopsis, Jack Ryan Season 3 will see Jack dealing with another conspiracy though this time, he’s caught up in it and on the run in a race against time. After being Wrongly implicated and the government branding him a fugitive, Ryan is forced out in the cold. Now, wanted by both the CIA and an international rogue faction that he has uncovered, Jack is forced underground, crisscrossing Europe, fighting for his life, while preventing a massive global conflict.
The upcoming season will see Wendell Pierce reprise as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November, and joining the cast are new series regulars, Nina Hoss as Alena Kovac and Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright.
Jack Ryan season 4 began production in Feb 2022, and the fourth arrival will conclude the Jack Ryan series, as Deadline reported in May. However, that won’t be the end of the Ryanverse since a spin-off is in the works with Michael Pena portraying Ding Chavez, another character from the source material. Krasinski has also had a busy schedule lately with the filmmaker taking on the directorial duties for IF movie starring Deadpool 3 star Ryan Reynolds.
