Wonder Woman, DC’s most successful project till date shot a part of their movie in Italy where they recreated the fictional island of Themyscira. With the Justice League reshoots going on, a new report is now revealing that some actors from the solo movie are heading back there again.
It has not been revealed as to why these actors are going back to Italy but a post is hinting that they are filming something there.
Batman-news reported that the revelation comes from one Madeleine Vall Beijner who played an Amazonian warrior in Wonder Woman. On her Instagram, she posted that in less than three weeks she will be reunited with other warriors in Italy.
Her post sees three actors dressed like Amazon warriors and posing for the camera. While the post did not reveal anything further, the actors could be filming some extra scenes as part of Justice League reshoots.
The ensemble is all set to hit theaters soon and with some reshoots going on, chances are it could continue throughout September as well. Earlier a report had indicated that Justice League would feature more of Themyscira with Queen Hippolyta and General Antiope being included in these scenes.
In the latest trailer as well, Steppenwolf can be seen invading Themyscira in search of the motherbox kept there much to the surprise of Queen Hippolyta. Maybe the ensemble’s team is looking to add a little scene just to give the Themyscira part much relevance.
The outlet also reported that the three actors could be filming some scenes for the upcoming Aquaman as well since the Jason Momoa starrer is scheduled to film there soon.
If not for any of these movies, it could also be that the three actors could be meeting each other for a vacation. But if that were the case the studio would not have been mentioned in the Instagram post.
It remains to be seen if the ensemble reshoots will extend to Italy or not. The movie will see the DC team come together for the first time as they prepare themselves to fight Steppenwolf and his Parademons.
Justice League will release this year on Nov. 17.
